Community Virtual Services (Adobe Connect)

Roger Renteria is a web content administrator for Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque, NM. He has a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication from New Mexico Tech. Currently, he presents about social media, content strategy, and cloud technology.

Greta Boller Buskirk

Communications Lead

Greta Boller Buskirk is Communications Lead responsible for making social media announcements on behalf of the CAC. She also serves STC as vice president of the Washington DC-Baltimore Chapter. Look for her at Summit 2017!

For her day job, Greta is a remote government contractor technical writer. She’s had the privilege of support the Department of State, Department of Energy, Department of Labor, Navy, and the United States Marine Corps. Her current position is Technical Writer/Editor 3 for Spry Methods, Inc. supporting SPAWAR. She specializes in government writing, proposal writing, and the development of technical writing departments.

You may also know Greta from her blog The Lone Technical Writer which was active from April 2015 through March 2016. She looks forward to reigniting it soon with all she continues to learn from STC.

Liz Herman

Vice Chair, Community Affairs Committee

Liz Herman is a current Director at Large on STC’s Board of Directors. Her term runs May 2016-May 2018. She is currently supporting Chair Cindy Pao and the CAC Team and will become the board liaison between the CAC and STC’s Board of Directors in May 2017. As a senior member of STC, Liz has served in various leadership roles in the Eastern Iowa and Washington DC chapters. She was previously on Intercom’s Editorial Advisory Board where she served as Chair.
